Dell Computers announced that it would begin to offer its second notebook that uses Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)processors.

According to Dell, the Latitude 131L notebook comes with either AMD’s Turion 64 X2 TL-50 dual-core processor with a starting price of $649, or the Sempron 3500+ processor, which starts at $549. The new notebook line will available for sale on Web site from this month onwards.

Dell’s latest notebook offering comes less than a week after the company began advertising its Inspiron 1501 notebook—the first in the company’s line of notebooks that offers AMD processors.
