30 November 2009 No Comment

Windows Pager is a interesting simple application which can organize your desktop. Since there no visible installation screens after you run the exe file, it will confusing and it will be difficult to use it. Go through following lines, which will give brief idea about application and its usage.

windows-pager

But its very simple, download the application, unzip using WinZip or WinRar and find folder windowspager or windowspager64bit (If your are running 64bit) and double click on windowspager.exe. The application creates four virtual desktops on your computer, which will available as four rectangles next to the system tray. The first column contains everything that was open when the Application started and the rest all boxes will be empty.

You can move few opened windows from one desktop to another desktop with  “drag and drop”  which is very useful to arrange your running programs. I have arranged my desktop something like, all opened browsers dropped into a box and all folders into another virtual box and all active running web tools  into remaining rectangle box. If you have problem to drag and drop, Click on one of the empty virtual box and then run any other application like media player or Google chrome browser. It automatically falls into selected virtual box. I just find this tool as best organizer of my flooded taskbar.

WindowsPager is freeware and comes as a ZIP file that requires no installation. Download WindowsPager here.
